Paradise Triathlon Training provides a Coaching and Consultancy service. Coaching to all abilities and ages, wishing to achieve their Goals and Targets in Swim / Bike / Run / Triathlons / Duathlons.
We work closely with you as the athlete and revise the training plan to suite your lifestyle and commitments. Providing and supporting your training through several Workshops and Training Events, provided by Paradise Tri.
ATHLETE – Simon Brierley Professional Athlete
Simon is currently racing as a Professional athlete in Ironman and 70.3 since 2015, he has had a few top 10 finishes Ironman UK, 70.3 Dublin. He has taken part in Triathlon +25yrs, competing at all levels, from club to Pro level. Winning Titles such as African Duathlon Elite Silver Medal, African Junior Champion, GB National Duathlon AG Champion 2000, competed at 3 ITU World Champs, National Junior Series Winner & London Triathlon Champ 1998. Competing also in Cycling Elite Level at the Africa Cycling Champs 2010. Simon has taken part in Triathlon (Sprint – Ironman) for over 20yrs, competing at all levels, from club to semi-pro level. Started taking part in Triathlons 1992 in Zimbabwe, Africa. Winning Titles such as Africa Junior Champion, several Zimbabwe National Titles and Silver at Zimbabwe National U19 Cycling Time Trial Champs. He has gained many more achievements and awards year on year. Simon then went to the UK to further his education and also sporting ventures.
Simon’s Coaching Career started back in 1999 on BTEC Sports Science and then gaining BTF Coaching Lv1 & 2 and now Level 3 High Performance Triathlon Coaching, ASA Lv2, Open Water Swim Coach and several other coaching qualifications.
2012 saw Simon being recognised and invited to be a Certified Training Peaks Coach and already starting to Coach athletes in Cyprus, Brazil, UK, Dubai and other main land European countries.
Simon is also part of the BTF/Tri England Coach Education Workforce, Tutoring and Assessing Lv 1 & Lv 2 Coaches since 2008.
Simon was involved in the GB Para Triathlon Coaching and Talent ID Days, working specifically with the T6 Visually Impaired athletes. Working with T6 GB Athlete Iain Dawson as a Technical Coach.
Simon was also part of the Coaching force for the Eastern Region Triathlon Academy.
For a short term in 2012 Head Swimming Coach for North Norfolk Viking Swimming Club, supporting and developing Regional Swimming to achieve Regional Qualifying Times.
Regularly coaching at Tri-Anglia Triathlon Club within the Norfolk Region. Tri-Anglia’s Swim sessions through out the year and also Open Water Swim Coaching, once the water gets warmer. Also Turbo/Run sessions and run programmes. Very much part of the Coaching setup of the 500+ club members.
Head Coach at the University of East Anglia Triathlon Team for 4yrs, saw 7 of the past UEA Tri squad donning National AG tops in Duathlons and Triathlons
Simon is also very active overseas as the co. Founder of Seychelles Triathlon Federation, where in the past he has PTT host Triathlon and Swim Holidays in the Seychelles.
Paradise Tri Cyprus – Simon has now relocated PTT and family to the Mediterranean island of Cyprus, based in the Pafos Region full time. Working closely with several key located hotels within in Pafos. Providing bespoke packages for anyone wishing to come to Cyprus for Triathlon Training, for the past 2yrs PTT has successfully hosted Training camps. Now moving towards the more bespoke Training holidays for 1:1, Clubs, Teams, Groups partners, whatever the number PTT Cyprus will put the package together for you Accommodation, Transfers, Bike Hire, Vehicle Support, Coaching, Pool Bookings, Athletics Track Booking, Sea Swim Support and Safety, Consultancy, on going Training Programmes and even Pro Athlete Training support and facilitation.
